About Holly

Life - Light - Color

Holly grew up in a family of artists and explored creating across a variety of media at a young age. She and her sister would paint on easels set up in their kitchen while their mother, also an artist, looked on with an instructive eye. They would roll slabs of clay for hand built pots, and play with the pedals on their mother's large loom. Though creating had always been a part of her life, it wasn't until she had her own children that Holly began painting in earnest. She has studied with some of the leading art instructors of this generation: Sarah Sedwick, Patti Mollica, Melanie Morris, Peggi Kroll Roberts, amongst others. She paints on a 60 year old easel made by her grandfather, as her children play and paint around her.

Holly and her family live in a quaint New England town north of Boston where they love being a part of a wonderful community, taking drives to the coast,  and getting lost in the beauty that surrounds them.
